Full Job Description

We are seeking a Data Scientist to drive growth through advanced analytics and machine learning. This pivotal role operates at the confluence of marketing performance, product optimization, and decision science. You will collaborate closely with Paid Media, Product, and Engineering teams to develop models, derive insights, and influence user acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies. Your work, spanning campaign ROI to user segmentation and funnel optimization, will directly impact our growth trajectory. This position is ideal for an individual who is motivated by business impact, possesses strong communication skills, and is adept at building reusable, production-ready insights rather than performing isolated analyses.

What You’ll Do

Marketing & Revenue Modelling

  • Develop end-to-end models for Lifetime Value (LTV), user segmentation, retention, and marketing efficiency to inform media optimization and value attribution.
  • Partner with Paid Media and RevOps teams to optimize Search Engine Marketing (SEM) performance, forecast high-value user cohorts, and enhance strategic bidding and targeting.

Product & Growth Analytics

  • Collaborate with Product Insights and General Managers (GMs) to define key metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and success frameworks for new product launches and features.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of user behavior, funnel performance, and product engagement to uncover actionable insights.
  • Monitor and explain shifts in critical product metrics, identifying root causes and their business implications.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering to design and maintain scalable data pipelines that support machine learning workflows, model retraining, and real-time inference.

Predictive Modelling & Machine Learning

  • Build predictive models for conversion, churn, revenue, and engagement using regression, classification, or time-series methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities for prescriptive analytics and automation within key product and marketing workflows.
  • Support the development of reusable ML pipelines for production-scale applications such as product recommendations, lead scoring, and SEM planning.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Present insights and recommendations clearly and persuasively to a diverse range of stakeholders, from individual contributors to executives.
  • Translate business requirements into data challenges and complex findings into actionable strategic plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Business Intelligence (BI), and Marketing teams to deliver and deploy analytical solutions.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering).
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in data science, growth analytics, or decision science roles.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, including libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, and NumPy.
  • Practical experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar.
  • Familiarity with LTV modeling, retention curve analysis, cohort analysis, and media attribution techniques.
  • Experience with performance marketing platforms like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Ads, or Meta.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to translate data into business decisions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent cloud data warehousing and MLOps solutions.
  • Understanding of affiliate marketing or lead generation business models.
  • Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), embeddings, or agent-based analytics.
  • Ability to contribute to model deployment workflows using tools like Vertex AI, Airflow, or Composer.
