Role Overview

JPMorganChase is a leading financial services firm dedicated to helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals. We are seeking a Data Scientist to develop and interpret queries, analyze workflows, and implement machine learning models to enhance operational efficiencies and ensure data quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and interpret complex SQL queries (including subqueries, CTEs, and hierarchical data) that directly impact business logic and reporting accuracy for the Plano office region.
• Build and analyze end-to-end workflows to guarantee accurate data flow, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Validate dashboards ensuring strict alignment with business metrics, specifically supporting finance, risk, and claims analytics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and support the full analytics lifecycle from design through deployment in our Plano location.
• Implement AI/ML models via pre-trained endpoints (Regression, Clustering, Text processing) using Python/SAS/scikit-learn/TensorFlow to automate data extraction on AWS or Azure cloud infrastructures.
• Manage metadata, cataloging, and lineage to ensure governance, compliance with regulatory controls, and support for internal audits of finance/risk/claims data.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in Oracle relational databases (using joins, subqueries) and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
• Leverage Alteryx macros (Batch/Interactive) to streamline repetitive ETL tasks, including large-scale data wrangling and transformation of structured/unstructured datasets.
