Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist specializing in Innovation at Comscore in Pune, India, you will be instrumental in building scalable, modular procedures to extract valuable insights from large and diverse data sources. Your work will support direct product requests, internal operations improvements, custom client requests, and research initiatives. You will develop algorithms, models, tools, and processes for data organization, analysis, and evaluation, as well as create measurement and visualization tools, reports, technical papers, and patents to effectively communicate analysis results. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners will be key to unlocking data value and addressing customer needs.

Key Activities

• Develop algorithms, tools, and processes for analyzing diverse, large-scale datasets to enhance and expand Comscore products and services.
• Investigate emerging technologies with potential for integration into future products.
• Conduct research into online advertising fraud detection.
• Produce data summaries and visualizations for Product and Marketing teams.
• Author reports detailing analysis findings.
• Collaborate within teams investigating data quality and new technologies.

Core Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of small and large teams.
• Capacity to operate with minimal supervision.
• Experience in IT security or fraud detection is a strong asset.

Shift Details

This role requires working a combination of US and India business hours, typically from 2 PM to 11 PM IST. Occasional later hours may be necessary for meetings with global teams. An initial onboarding and training period of 4-6 weeks may require working US Eastern time hours (IST -9:30).
