Data Scientist

About the Role

We are seeking freshers passionate about Data Science, Machine Learning, and Analytics. This paid internship provides practical exposure to end-to-end projects including data collection, preprocessing, EDA, statistical analysis, ML model development, and visualization.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, preprocess, and organize datasets from relevant sources using Python (Pandas, NumPy).
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and insights with Matplotlib and Seaborn.
• Assist in developing, training, and evaluating machine learning models using Scikit-learn.
• Apply basic statistical techniques to analyze datasets and support data-driven decisions.
• Create meaningful charts, visualizations, and reports to communicate analytical findings.
• Work with SQL to extract, filter, join, and analyze data from databases.
• Assist in feature engineering and data preparation for machine learning projects.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and document results clearly.
• Identify data quality issues and assist in improving dataset accuracy.
• Document analysis processes, methodologies, experiments, and project findings.
• Research relevant tools, techniques, and industry applications.
• Collaborate with remote team members to complete projects on time.

Requirements:

Suitable for freshers or college students. Basic knowledge of Python programming is essential. Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, SQL, Git, and basic machine learning concepts (Scikit-learn) is beneficial. Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn are required.
