Data Scientist III

Join Conduent's Analytics Practice as a Data Scientist III in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. In this dynamic, multi-disciplinary role, you will be instrumental in acquiring, transforming, loading, and processing data from diverse sources for advanced analytics and machine learning within a big data environment. Your responsibilities will include engineering modern data pipelines, conducting data profiling and quality assessments, writing SQL queries for data extraction and integration, and developing efficient data collection strategies. You will analyze data to derive actionable insights, design and develop ETL processes with performance tuning, and support application development while recommending best practices. Collaboration in design and code reviews, staying abreast of new ETL techniques and technology trends, and ensuring solution requirements align with architecture are key. You will also support customer presentations and advise on emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. This role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, a BS or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and extensive experience with ETL, data integration, varied data sources, SQL performance optimization, and various data models. Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, big data environments, cloud data stores, RDBMS, OLAP solutions, and cloud-based ETL development is essential. Experience with deployment and maintenance of ETL jobs, software solution development principles, and maintaining evergreen technical knowledge is required. Additionally, at least 3 years of success in software engineering, release engineering, or configuration management, strong scripting skills (like PowerShell), and substantial experience with CI/CD processes are necessary. Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects, experience with Onshore/Offshore delivery models, and familiarity with business processes across multiple Master data domains are highly valued. You should possess a rational and organized approach, high professional standards, sound decision-making capabilities, and strong written and oral communication skills. Experience in gathering end-user requirements, writing technical documentation, and excelling in time management and multitasking under pressure are also expected.
