Data Scientist II

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist II to join our Monetization & Pricing team at Thumbtack. In this role, you will leverage advanced data analysis to drive critical business decisions, support product launches, and model marketplace economics. You will conduct quantitative research on user behaviors and trends, design experiments for causal inference in collaboration with engineers and economists, scope new feature impacts through scenario modeling, define key performance metrics, and contribute to our company-wide data culture. This position offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in how Thumbtack's complex search and matching systems interact across platforms while mentoring team members.
