Data Scientist

You will collaborate with portfolio managers, research analysts, and technology experts to generate actionable insights in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment. Responsibilities:

• Develop predictive models for portfolio optimization and scenario analysis.
• Apply machine learning to forecast macro and market trends, and credit risk.
• Work with extensive financial datasets from diverse sources.
• Build ML and AI dashboards and visualization tools for investment teams.
• Implement natural language processing and AI for research automation.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and technology teams to deliver analytical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Master's/Ph.D. in data science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data science roles.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience with MLOps principles and ML pipeline automation.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI and agent-based frameworks.
• Knowledge of time-series modeling and portfolio optimization algorithms.
• A background in financial services or investment management is preferred.
• CFA, CQF, or FRM certification is a plus.

This is an Individual Contributor role with work shift timings from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.
