Full Job Description
Fort Technologies is seeking a Data Scientist with 1-3 years of experience for their Bangalore office. This role requires deep expertise in data science, operations research, and core engineering principles to scale implementations. The ideal candidate will contribute to scaling machine learning workloads for large datasets, solving optimization problems at the intersection of Operations Research and Machine Learning, and developing auto-scaling ML pipelines. Responsibilities include contributing to a logistics planning pipeline that integrates big data, operations research, and machine learning, as well as developing a data platform for data mining and insight generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scale machine learning workloads for large volumes of data.
- Solve optimization problems using Operations Research, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
- Develop and implement auto-scaling ML pipelines and test automation for critical algorithms.
- Contribute to the development of a logistics planning pipeline fusing big data, operations research, and machine learning.
- Build a data platform for data mining and insight generation.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and optimization algorithms.
- Experience in designing and developing NLP applications.
- Proven experience in building geo-analytical models and various clustering algorithms.
- Experience applying machine learning models on large volume and high-velocity datasets is a plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools for big data infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud-native AI and ML offerings (Azure/GCP/AWS) is advantageous.
