Data Scientist

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Hyderabad. This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement. Technical Skills and Understanding

A solid understanding of healthcare data is optimal, as data underpins our products. Essential technical proficiencies include:

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel.
• Demonstrated experience in the data lifecycle within at least two of the following areas: clinical, operations, financial, fraud, digital, sales and marketing, wellness, or other relevant healthcare datasets.
• Proficient experience in generating Datamarts for healthcare applications.
• Working experience with health outcome indices, metrics, and measures.
• Knowledge of databases, data structures, governance, metadata standards, data architecture principles, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Knowledge of patient health management, provider profiling, healthcare reporting, and other key healthcare technologies is advantageous.
• Familiarity with clinical tools such as coders, groupers, and classifications is advantageous.
• Knowledge of data science applications within the healthcare sector is advantageous.
• Knowledge of healthcare benefit pricing, product pricing, and actuarial calculations (reserving, risk rating, etc.) is advantageous.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Databricks, Synapse, and Data Factory is preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Statistics, Healthcare-related field, or a similar discipline.
• A master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in healthcare analytics.
