HT Digital Streams, part of the Hindustan Times Group, is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team in Delhi, India. This is a permanent full-time position where you will play a crucial role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. These insights will directly contribute to the growth, engagement, and monetization strategies across our diverse digital platforms. We are looking for an individual who possesses a strong blend of analytical rigor, practical business understanding, and robust technical expertise to support key decision-making and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement predictive and recommendation models to enhance user engagement and personalize user experiences.
• Analyze user behavior patterns, content consumption trends, and conversion funnels to identify strategic growth opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and growth teams to translate data-driven insights into impactful product features and effective campaign strategies.
• Design, build, and maintain essential dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and data pipelines for critical business metrics.
• Conduct rigorous A/B testing and statistical analyses to validate hypotheses and continuously optimize user journeys.
• Work in tandem with engineering teams to successfully productionize models, ensuring scalability and optimal performance.

Requirements:

• Possess 2-6 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics, with a preference for candidates from B2C, media, or digital industry backgrounds.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Python and SQL, along with essential libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Have hands-on experience with data visualization tools, including Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of statistical modeling techniques, A/B testing methodologies, and hypothesis validation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and experience with big data tools are considered a significant advantage.
• Possess strong business acumen and the ability to clearly articulate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
