About the Role
At Gaana, we are seeking a data-driven problem solver to enhance customer lifecycle outcomes, from engagement through to renewal and upgrades. This position operates at the intersection of data science, product, and growth, with a focus on identifying and implementing strategies that significantly improve customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
What You'll Do
- Analyze user behavior and develop insights at both cohort and individual levels to understand engagement, churn, and renewal patterns.
- Pinpoint high-impact intervention opportunities across the customer journey, determining the right actions, timing, and target audience.
- Design and execute lifecycle strategies using existing tools like CRM, notifications, and journey builders to boost retention and upgrade rates.
- Build and deploy models and frameworks to predict churn, engagement drop-offs, and the likelihood of upgrades.
- Conduct structured experiments, including A/B testing, to measure the impact of interventions and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and growth teams to translate insights into scalable, actionable interventions.
- Take ownership of key metrics such as engagement, renewal rates, upgrade conversion, and LTV improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or growth-focused roles.
- A strong understanding of user behavior analysis, cohort analysis, and lifecycle metrics.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python (or similar tools), and data modeling.
- The ability to move beyond analysis to drive real-world interventions and tangible outcomes.
- Experience with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing is a significant advantage.
- Experience with marketing automation tools such as MoEngage or CleverTap is a plus.
- A high degree of ownership, with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives from start to finish.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, coupled with a bias for action.
