Data Scientist Consultant II

Allstate is seeking a Data Scientist Consultant II in Pune, India, to lead data-driven decision-making. This role involves developing and executing new machine learning predictive modeling algorithms, coding tools for business decision-making using ML, discovering and integrating new internal and external data sources to enhance modeling results, and identifying business problems solvable through machine learning and predictive modeling. The position also entails managing small to medium complexity projects.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with the team to improve business decision effectiveness through data and ML, evaluating and communicating modeling techniques and results to stakeholders, developing statistical and machine learning models with limited supervision, and executing modeling projects effectively. The role also requires utilizing project planning techniques to manage deadlines and innovating with new modeling techniques and tools.

Qualifications: A Master's Degree is preferred. 2 or more years of experience in a related field is also preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
