Data Scientist - AI/ML & Cloud Engineering

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Chennai and Pune. This role focuses on leveraging Python for advanced AI/ML implementations and cloud-based data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Python Development: Design and build robust, scalable applications using Python, incorporating Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles for efficient code structure.
• AI/ML Implementation: Apply machine learning techniques including forecasting, clustering, regression, classification, and optimization using Python to solve complex business problems.
• Cloud & Data Engineering Tools: Utilize cloud platforms and services such as Azure, Databricks, and MLflow. Orchestrate data pipelines and workflows using Airflow or similar tools.
• MLOps & Automation: Implement MLOps best practices for model lifecycle management, including deployment, monitoring, and automation. Employ containerization with Docker for scalable and reproducible deployments.
• Version Control & Collaboration: Utilize Git for source code management, ensuring efficient collaboration and maintainability within a team environment.
• Problem-Solving & Communication: Demonstrate strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges. Effectively communicate technical findings and solutions to diverse audiences.
• Stakeholder Interaction: Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations and written reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated experience in Python development, with a focus on AI/ML and cloud-based implementations.

Required Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Python and OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML algorithms and model development workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and tools such as Azure, Databricks, MLflow, and Airflow.
• Knowledge of MLOps principles and containerization technologies like Docker.
• Proficiency in Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
