Canvendor is hiring a Data Scientist with 1-4 years of experience in Chennai. This permanent role requires immediate to 15-day notice periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply data science techniques to solve complex problems, utilizing first-principles thinking.
- Take ownership of projects to ensure problems are fully resolved, not just outputs delivered.
- Utilize Python, SQL, and Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
- Apply Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Visualization, and time-series techniques as needed.
- Work with large-scale, real-world datasets, including messy data.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills, fitting well within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Generative AI and distributed data systems such as Snowflake, Spark, and Kafka.
- Knowledge of fleet, automotive, IoT, or telemetry data.
- Hands-on experience with anomaly detection, forecasting, or optimization problems.
