Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Data Scientist to independently research hypotheses using diverse real-world datasets and develop quantitative methodologies. You will collaborate closely with engineers and business stakeholders while maintaining active engagement in the academic community through seminars and reading circles.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently formulate and test novel hypotheses based on unique, large-scale data sets.
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to apply state-of-the-art techniques for signal extraction.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including engineers and business leaders to rigorously explore theories.

About You

You hold a degree in a technical or quantitative field such as computer science, economics, statistics, or chemistry. You are proficient in Python and SQL and have experience performing deep research projects on real-world data. While a finance background is not required—more than half of our team comes from non-finance industries—we value candidates who bring an independent mind to creative problem-solving.
