Data Scientist

As an integral part of the ContiTech Group Sector Central Function Technology, you will spearhead the global application of data science and its effective utilization across the organization. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing innovative data-driven solutions to address complex business challenges. You will leverage cutting-edge techniques to build customer-centric platforms, aiming to reduce complexity, enforce standards, and maximize cost savings. Furthermore, you will contribute to developing innovative material-driven solutions for a carbon-neutral and fully circular product portfolio.

Your role will involve consulting on the practical application of data science methodologies, technologies, and best practices, working in tandem with AI/DS platform, sector, and project owners. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data and AI integration, translating business needs into precise data requirements and success metrics, and prioritizing use cases based on feasibility and impact. A key aspect of your work will be developing and standardizing data science best practices in conjunction with AI/DS stakeholders to guide solution development. You will maintain a deep understanding of the business and industry landscape to identify emerging trends and research opportunities for technological advancement. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to identify areas for business performance improvement and deliver impactful outcomes. You will develop and implement models and algorithms using machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and statistical analysis. Additionally, you will lead the development and implementation of data pipelines and infrastructure to support data analysis and modeling efforts, while establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships, both internal and external. Your work will focus on optimizing data-driven decision-making processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, and you will ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation and testing procedures.
