Data Scientist

About the Role

We are seeking talented Data Scientists at NICE Actimize in Pune, India (Hybrid) to solve complex fraud problems using advanced analytics and machine learning. You will transform raw data into actionable insights within a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify inconsistencies in fraud cases
• Build, validate, and optimize ML models for detection/prevention (clustering, decision trees, boosting)
• Predict fraudulent transactions using data pattern research
• Create compelling visualizations for stakeholders
• Collaborate with business teams on scalable solutions
• Advocate technical findings to non-technical audiences

Requirements

• 2–4 years experience in Data Science (Mid-Level)
• Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Statistics, Math, CS, etc.
• Proficiency in Python 3.7+, SQL, Excel
• Experience with Logistic Regression and regularization techniques
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and ML-ops frameworks
