Join EY GDS Assurance Digital in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, as a Senior Manager specializing in Data Science. In this core full-time AI developer role, you will drive innovation by applying AI research to develop high-growth, impactful products. You will empower EY's sector and service line professionals by creating data science-enabled solutions that integrate with business objectives to extract meaningful insights. Working with multi-disciplinary teams across the region, you will support global clients in transforming business challenges into analytical problems and delivering innovative AI-based solutions.

Responsibilities include converting business problems into analytical problems, devising solution approaches, cleaning, aggregating, and interpreting data for business insights. You will own the end-to-end AI/ML implementation process, from model design and feature planning to testing, production setup, monitoring, and release management. Collaboration with Solution Architects is key for deploying AI Proofs of Concept (POCs) and scaling them to production-level applications. Proficiency in Python and experience deploying open-source models are essential, as is expertise in data extraction techniques from complex documents like PDFs and Word documents, including entity and table extraction.

Key Requirements include a strong academic background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Operational Research, or a related field. You must have a solid background in Python with excellent coding skills and 4+ years of core data science experience in areas such as Machine Learning (Regression, Classification, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Time Series Forecasting, Clustering), Large Language Models (OpenAI models like ChatGPT, GPT4, frameworks like LangChain and Llama Index, and open-source LLMs like Mistral, Llama), Deep Learning (DNN, RNN, LSTM, Encoder-Decoder Models), Natural Language Processing (Text Summarization, Aspect Mining, Question Answering, Text Classification, NER, Language Translation, NLG, Sentiment Analysis), Computer Vision (Image Classification, Object Detection, Tracking), SQL/NoSQL Databases, and API Deployment (Flask/FastAPI/Azure Function Apps) with Docker and Kubernetes.

Additional skills include excellent written and oral communication, presentation and facilitation abilities, strong project management experience, the ability to coordinate multiple projects, and proficiency in analyzing complex problems to deliver pragmatic solutions. You should be proactive, organized, self-sufficient, and possess the ability to quickly gather and analyze data from various sources. Experience with firm's reporting tools and processes is beneficial.
