Data Science Research Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking an undergraduate student to support a real-world analytics project for a water utility company. In this role, you will research suitable datasets, conduct exploratory analysis, select influential features, build predictive models, and document your methods.

Responsibilities

• Investigate potential data sources to determine the most suitable data for specific research problems related to water utility operations.
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to understand data structure.
• Analyze data to identify key variables and determine which factors influence model accuracy.
• Design, implement, and validate predictive models using appropriate machine learning algorithms.
• Clearly document all research methods, data sources, and results for future reference.
