Wikilabs India is seeking a talented Data Research Associate to join our team in Greater Noida (Pari Chowk). This role is crucial for our work in the rapidly expanding energy transition and battery energy storage markets, both in India and globally. We provide essential commodities research, market analysis, and insights to clients, offering market transparency and deep understanding of crucial metals vital to the industry.

Our activities encompass data sourcing, in-depth market research, and comprehensive reporting to generate cutting-edge market intelligence and policy breakthroughs. Through sophisticated price modelling and discovery methodologies, we aim to deliver accurate and reliable information, empowering businesses and stakeholders to make informed decisions in this dynamic sector.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed research and analysis on:
• Base metal markets, focusing on financial performance, carbon footprint, policy, and valuation.
• The global energy sector, with a special emphasis on new energy and battery storage solutions.
• Global trade dynamics and market trends pertinent to the energy transition.
• Recycling markets, both within India and internationally.
• Collate and maintain comprehensive databases for:
• Industry events, conferences, bilateral meetings, and site visits.
• Key government and non-government stakeholders.
• Knowledge repositories and report synopses from leading think-tanks.
• Undertake primary and secondary data collection on fundamental aspects such as demand, supply, production, and consumption of products relevant to our client's interests.
• Publish insightful reports and op-eds on relevant industry trends, policies, and events.
• Actively engage with industry and non-industry stakeholders to support policy advocacy efforts.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2-6 years of professional work experience in government, leading consulting firms, market research firms, and/or think-tanks.
• Proven experience in developing price models and handling large datasets.
• Demonstrated experience in building relationships and collaborating with senior bureaucrats and politicians.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Hindi.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• A strong analytical mindset with the ability to lead projects across various workstreams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
