Your Impact:

In this critical role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest data quality standards for the General Fundamentals dataset. You will conduct comprehensive data quality assessments, identify discrepancies, and implement effective corrective actions to ensure our data meets rigorous quality benchmarks. Job Summary:

As a Data Quality Analyst (Grade 7), you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across multiple platforms. This role involves analyzing data quality issues, implementing robust quality control measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive data quality assessments and audits to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement data quality frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define data quality requirements and key performance metrics.
• Utilize data profiling tools and techniques to monitor data quality and generate insightful reports.
• Design and execute data cleansing and validation processes to improve data accuracy and reliability.
• Proactively monitor operational processes, identify deviations, and ensure timely escalation and reporting to management and stakeholders.
• Analyze defects identified during regular operations and correlate them with various datasets within Data Quality to derive actionable insights.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data quality management techniques and technologies.

What We Are Looking For:

• A strong interest in data quality principles and a foundational understanding of data concepts.
• Familiarity with basic database concepts and a demonstrated willingness to learn SQL and data analysis techniques.
• Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to learn to interpret complex data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a client-focused attitude and a collaborative spirit. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or advanced spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) is a plus.

Qualifications:

• A full-time MBA or a postgraduate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data quality management or a closely related role.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data profiling and data quality tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and practices is a valuable asset.
• Familiarity with General Fundamentals Main table data is considered an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Relevant certifications in data quality or data management are desirable.
