Data Platform Engineer

Accenture is seeking a skilled Data Platform Engineer to join their team in Chennai. This role involves contributing to the blueprint and design of the data platform, ensuring seamless integration between systems and data models. You will collaborate closely with Integration Architects and Data Architects, playing a key part in problem-solving and strategic decision-making to optimize the data platform's effectiveness and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data platform technologies.
• Collaborate with and manage teams to ensure high performance and successful project delivery.
• Take ownership of team decisions and drive project outcomes.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to critical decision-making processes.
• Provide innovative solutions to immediate team challenges and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to foster team growth and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the data platform, proposing enhancements and optimizations.

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform is essential.
• Strong understanding of data integration techniques and best practices.
• Experience with cloud-based data solutions and architectures.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform advanced data analysis.

Additional Information:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, specifically within the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• This role is based in our Chennai office.
• A full-time education of 15 years is a mandatory requirement.
