About the Role
As a Data Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the blueprint and design of the data platform, encompassing its relevant components. This involves close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure seamless integration between systems and data models. You will engage in discussions to refine and enhance the data architecture, and participate in various stages of the data platform lifecycle to guarantee all components work harmoniously to support the organization's data needs.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, proposing innovative solutions, and contributing to the overall strategy of the data platform, ensuring it adapts to the evolving demands of the business. You are expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborating with and managing the team to perform tasks, and taking responsibility for team decisions. Engaging with multiple teams and contributing to key decisions, you will provide solutions to complex problems for your immediate team and across various departments. Facilitating knowledge sharing sessions will be vital to enhance team capabilities, and you will monitor and evaluate team performance to ensure alignment with project goals.
