Data Platform Engineer

About The Role

As a Data Platform Engineer at Accenture in Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data infrastructure. This involves collaborating with integration and data architects to develop data platform blueprints, ensuring seamless integration between various systems and data models.

Your responsibilities will include owning and enhancing automation pipelines using Python, working extensively with Amazon Web Services (AWS) services such as Lambda, Glue, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Transfer Family, KMS, and IAM. You will leverage SQL for data processing and integration, and collaborate on data workflows, with Snowflake and dbt experience being a plus. Managing code and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and crosstraining into Terraform for infrastructure automation are also key aspects of this role.

We are looking for candidates with strong Python programming skills, hands-on expertise in AWS serverless and data services, and proficiency in SQL. Experience with GitLab is essential. The ability to work independently as an Independent Contributor is highly valued. While not mandatory, experience or a willingness to learn Snowflake, dbt, and Terraform is considered advantageous.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience required (Additional information specifies minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering).
• 15 years of full-time education is required.
