Data Platform Engineer

About The Role

As a Data Platform Engineer at Accenture, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the blueprint and design of the data platform, encompassing its relevant components. You will collaborate closely with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure seamless and cohesive integration between various systems and data models. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve contributing to discussions that refine and enhance the overall data architecture strategy, ensuring all components of the data platform work harmoniously to meet organizational data needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in the Collibra operating model, including workflow BPMN development and integration of diverse applications and systems with Collibra.
• Design a comprehensive Data Governance Organization, including the establishment of a steering committee, data governance office, stewardship layer, and other working groups.
• Set up people and processes, defining relevant roles, responsibilities, and controls, including data ownership, workflows, and common processes.

Technical Experience

• Demonstrate experience in data governance across a wide variety of data types (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data) and data sources such as HDFS, S3, Kafka, Cassandra, Hive, HBase, and Elastic Search.
• Possess working experience with the Collibra operating model, workflow BPMN development, and integrating various applications or systems with Collibra.
• Gain experience in setting up people's roles, responsibilities, and controls, data ownership, workflows, and common processes.
• Integrate Collibra with other enterprise tools including Data Quality Tools, Data Catalog Tools, and Master Data Management Solutions.
• Develop and configure all Collibra customized workflows.
• Develop APIs (REST, SOAP) to expose metadata functionalities to end-users.

Professional Experience

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data governance, metadata management, and data catalog solutions, with a specific focus on Collibra Data Governance.
• Utilize client interface and consulting skills effectively.
• Partner with Data Stewards to define requirements, integrations, and processes, actively participating in meetings and working sessions.
• Collaborate with Data Management and Integration Leads to continuously improve Data Management technologies and processes.

Educational Qualification

15 years of full-time education is required.
