Data Migration Engineer

Role Overview
The Migration Engineer is responsible for performing data migration from various EMR systems (including Ellkay's LKOASIS archiving solution) to new platforms. This role involves collaborating with Project Managers to understand requirements and develop migration plans, ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data migration of structured and unstructured data from various EMR systems.
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring all timelines are met.
• Analyze project scope with Project Managers to develop detailed delivery plans.
• Coordinate deliverables by working closely with internal cross-functional teams.
• Proactively identify potential issues and implement resolution strategies.
• Conduct rigorous data validation and testing to guarantee accuracy and integrity of migrated data.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects, prioritizing tasks for on-time delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years experience with data analysis and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
