The Role:

The Data Management Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the latest CAD data within the PLM Teamcenter system. This includes uploading and downloading files as required by the Design and Engineering teams, ensuring the latest revisions are aligned with customer-delivered files. You will also support the Engineering team in preparing commercial component buy-off documentation, build files, presentation booklets, and Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation. Additionally, this role involves supporting 3D model cleanup and 2D drawing creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Data Management expert for PLM Teamcenter, including the upload and download of CAD data.
• Ensure the latest data is uploaded to Teamcenter upon customer delivery.
• Maintain a single source of truth for mechanical engineering drawings, ensuring version control within Teamcenter and managing engineering change requests.
• Support the Engineering team in preparing commercial component buy-off documents for vendor approval.
• Collaborate with internal engineering leads to prepare tool booklets for customer reviews.
• Provide support for 3D model cleanup (3D finish) using Siemens NX.
• Assist engineers with 3D/2D design preparation, BOMs, documentation, and release processes for customer delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure data alignment across internal teams, sites, and customers.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or a related field.
• Basic experience in 3D modeling and detailing.
• Minimum 2-4 years of data management experience.
• Basic experience with Siemens NX.
• Experience with PLM software; Siemens Teamcenter is highly preferred.
• Ability to maintain discipline, structure, and excellent communication, functioning as an internal service desk.
• Highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite.
• A high level of attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency are essential.

Physical Demands:

Employees are regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, talk, and hear. Occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds may be required.
