Data Engineering Scrum Master

We are currently looking for a Data Engineering Scrum Master to join our team, with opportunities in Remote, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Cultivate a collaborative team environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
• Effectively manage client and team expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including Jira roadmaps, MS Project plans, and sprint release plans.
• Collaborate with team members to translate work into Jira issues and maintain accurate sprint release plans.
• Plan, manage, and balance resources effectively in coordination with Vectorform peers.
• Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
• Identify and remove impediments to enable efficient team task completion.
• Proactively identify and forecast company and project risks to mitigate potential issues.
• Report project status to executive leadership to ensure alignment with company goals, resource allocation, and strategic efforts.
• Manage project budgets, working closely with the Controller on expenses, invoices, and project profitability.
• Create essential project documentation, including resource plans, project schedules, release/iteration plans, communication plans, and RAIDD logs.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, current, shared, and properly stored.
• Oversee the processes and tools utilized by teams to achieve their objectives.
• Drive project profitability through continuous process improvement and management.

Minimum Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• At least 1 year of experience working as a Scrum Master.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate business challenges, alternative solutions, and project strategy to project teams and customer groups.
• A deep understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and practices.
• Proven experience collaborating with business partners, technology teams, and customers to define requirements and manage deliveries.
• A thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Nice to Have:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Previous experience as a developer, tester, business analyst, or UX designer.
