Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer II to design, implement, and manage robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility. This role involves creating efficient data models to support business analytics and reporting, and overseeing ETL processes for seamless data integration. You will administer and optimize both SQL and NoSQL databases, collaborating closely with software engineers to integrate data systems with applications. Utilizing big data tools like Hadoop and Spark, you will process large datasets and implement distributed systems for real-time data processing. A key responsibility is ensuring data governance and security through compliance with established policies and standards, including implementing access controls and encryption. This position also requires clear documentation of data architecture and processes, and the ability to deliver data-driven insights. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, and ideally have specific business accreditation in Business Intelligence. The role requires five years of relevant data engineering experience, fluency in English, and strong analytical, numerical, planning, organizational, and presentation skills.
