Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune, Maharashtra. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the robust data infrastructure that powers our data-driven applications and services. Your core responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining efficient ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness. You will work extensively with cloud-based data warehousing solutions, particularly GCP BigQuery, and will be tasked with optimizing data pipeline performance and scalability.
Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and developers to ensure our data pipelines meet their evolving needs. You will also play a crucial role in implementing data governance policies and procedures to uphold data quality and consistency. Designing and developing comprehensive data models to support our data-driven applications will be a significant part of your work. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues within the data pipeline and contributing to the evaluation and selection of new data management and analytics tools and technologies. Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and big data is essential for continuous innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with big data technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with data governance concepts and best practices.
