Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Engineer – Data Analytics & Insights (DA&I) for our Pune office to design scalable data management solutions that power decision intelligence across Rockwell Automation. You will work in a hybrid capacity, collaborating with technical leads and architects to shape the future of enterprise data.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test new data management solutions using Microsoft Azure PaaS tools (ADF, ADLS), Databricks, SAP Data Services, and DevOps methodologies for cloud and edge environments.
• Architect 'Data as a Service' pipelines ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and implement containerization models.
• Collaborate with analysts to define requirements and support application enhancements.

The Essentials

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in full systems development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Azure ADF, ADLS, SQL, Databricks, SAP Data Services, and tabular models.
• Skill in server-side architectures, containerization, and DevOps practices.

The Preferred

• Familiarity with open-source tools and domain-specific languages.
• 5+ years working with business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong analytical skills for distilling complex data into clear narratives.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture in a global environment.
