Data Engineer

Accenture is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their team in Pune. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. You will be responsible for creating efficient data pipelines, ensuring the highest standards of data quality, and implementing effective ETL processes for seamless data migration and deployment across systems.

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will contribute to the data platform blueprint and design, encompassing all relevant components. Your daily activities will involve close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models. You will also actively participate in discussions aimed at refining and enhancing the overall data architecture strategy.

Key responsibilities include acting as a subject matter expert (SME), collaborating with and managing teams to achieve project goals, and making critical team decisions. You will engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decision-making processes, and provide solutions to complex problems for both your immediate team and across broader organizational units. Facilitating knowledge sharing sessions is also a crucial part of this role to enhance team capabilities. Additionally, you will monitor project progress to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse is essential.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and ETL processes.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud data warehousing solutions.
• Familiarity with SQL and advanced data querying techniques.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows.

Additional Information:

• The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7.5 years of hands-on experience specifically with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is a mandatory requirement.
