Accenture is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions. Your primary focus will be on data generation, collection, and processing, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for creating sophisticated data pipelines, upholding high data quality standards, and implementing effective ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes for seamless data migration and deployment across various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data engineering.
• Collaborate with and manage a team to achieve project goals.
• Take ownership of team decisions and strategic direction.
• Engage with multiple cross-functional teams, contributing to key decision-making processes.
• Propose and implement solutions for immediate team challenges and broader organizational issues.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and skill development in data engineering.
• Continuously assess and refine data processes to maximize performance and efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• A strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 7.5 years of experience, with a strong emphasis on Python programming.
• A prerequisite of 15 years of full-time education.
• This position is based in our Pune office.
