Data Engineer

About the Role

CVS Health invites applications for a Data Engineer position within our People Analytics team. In this role, you will develop data warehouse models and pipelines on cloud platforms while supporting HR data security and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Management: Design, build, and manage robust ETL processes integrating HR data from Workday, talent management systems, payroll, and other sources.
• Data Engineering & Transformation: Develop optimized workflows ensuring high-quality, accurate, and available data for analytics teams and stakeholders across business units.
• Tech Leadership: Oversee a team of engineers, providing mentorship on best practices in version control, coding standards, and architecture.
• Analytics & Reporting Support: Collaborate with People Analytics to structure data, develop models, and create reproducible workflows for reporting using R, Python, and other tools.
• Data Security & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to governance protocols and industry regulations regarding HR data confidentiality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR leaders and IT teams to streamline requests and provide actionable insights.
