Data Engineer Opportunity in Mumbai with Accenture

Accenture is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their team in Mumbai. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions essential for data generation, collection, and processing. As a Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in creating efficient data pipelines, upholding data quality standards, and implementing comprehensive ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes to facilitate seamless data migration and deployment across diverse systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing.
• Create and manage data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow.
• Ensure high data quality and implement data validation checks.
• Implement ETL processes for data migration and deployment across various systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the data flow and processing stages.
• Enhance the overall data infrastructure to ensure data accessibility and reliability for informed decision-making.

Technical Requirements:

• Proven track record in delivering data integration and data warehousing solutions.
• Strong SQL proficiency and hands-on experience.
• Expertise in Google BigQuery SQL language.
• Understanding of cloud-native services, including bucket storage, Google BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Composer, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud solutions, particularly data platform services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in Shell Scripting and Python programming, including libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Deep understanding of various data structures (dictionary, array, list, tree, etc.).
• Experience with tools to automate CI/CD pipelines such as Control-M, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Performance tuning of BigQuery SQL scripts.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• GCP Certification.
• Experience with data integration and migration projects.
• Familiarity with analytics and modeling tools to develop business insights.
• Experience with Looker.
