Job Details

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of enhancements or changes to existing business analytics solutions by translating business needs into semantic data access requirements.
• Perform data mining exercises on vast datasets to identify opportunities for sales, margin, and market share growth through tele-sales call campaigns. Analyze all pricing activities, including discounts, allowances, programs, and contract prices, and develop recommendations to improve profitability and product mix.
• Validate data sources, data quality, data transformation, and data aggregation processes.
• Analyze data inaccuracies, identify improvement opportunities, and support the development of automated solutions to enhance enterprise data quality.
• Collaborate with data stewards to gather requirements for merging, de-duping, and cleansing data rules.
• Ensure and maintain a high level of data integrity using tools for monitoring and mass updating data changes.
• Ensure consistent and proper naming conventions and definitions for information across the organization.
• Identify opportunities for data reuse across the enterprise.
• Monitor data dictionary statistics and analyze reports of data duplicates or errors to provide appropriate ongoing data reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Inside Sales, Finance, and Sourcing in the development and preparation of performance forecasts, projections, and plans based on numerous variables and data assumptions.
• Identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action for data correction. Analyze and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets.
• Quantify and analyze the impact of existing or proposed operational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Assist in coaching and training business analytics solution users to enhance business decision-making capabilities.
• Analyze results of system audits to identify and report variations or problem areas, demonstrating keen attention to detail and an ability to identify data anomalies.
• Work cross-functionally with different departments to assess, define, and develop report deliverables.
• Accurately code variables from original information or data and complete statistical analyses as required.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline, or equivalent related experience.

Preferred Certifications

• Advanced Data Analytics Certifications
• SAS Statistical Business Analyst Professional Certification

Work Experience

2+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in healthcare data analytics or data engineering.
