Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are hiring an Entry-Level Data Engineer (I) at Mindlance. In this role, you will support critical data processing, analysis, visualization, and machine learning initiatives under the mentorship of senior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipeline Development: Build agentic pipelines for end-to-end data processing, model debugging tools, and clean structured spatial/research datasets to ensure high quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with MAXO researchers on processed outputs and collaborate with teams in India (with flexible hours) to manage annotation workflows and provide feedback.
• Data Visualization & Reporting: Create data solutions using internal BI tools like PLX, Datastudio, Looker, Tableau, as well as external platforms. Maintain reports and dashboards for ongoing user support.
• Analytics & ML Integration: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), profile datasets leveraging custom infrastructure or existing models, deploy pre-existing machine learning models, and learn new storage/MPP systems with guidance.
• Infrastructure & Security: Design and operationalize secure, scalable, and compliant data processing systems. Focus on efficiency, reliability, flexibility, and portability while adhering to technical best practices for master data management.
• Data Modeling & Standards: Develop robust data models, pipelines, and exchange formats that facilitate visualization, analysis, ML training feature engineering, and interpretation.
