Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our Hyderabad office-based team in India. Reporting to the Senior Manager – IT Analytics, this role requires strong communication skills and domain knowledge in Finance, Human Resources (HR), and Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Modeling & Architecture: Design and build performant data models (facts and dimensions) to support primary business functions for Finance, Procurement, & HR using Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, and Oracle Fusion.
• Data Evangelism: Drive adoption of data & analytics across teams by building compelling data stories that shape enterprise decision-making processes.
• Collaboration: Work independently while partnering with global business stakeholders and IT/ETL engineers (onsite in Hyderabad and offshore).
• Technical Execution:
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Write advanced SQL to analyze cross-functional datasets, answer business questions, and ensure data quality.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues with urgency and precision using Snowflake products.
• Transform source system data into marts and semantic models via complex dbt transformations.



Your Profile:

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills to collaborate across business/IT teams. Mandatory qualifications include exposure to Oracle Fusion and hands-on expertise with Snowflake and dbt (2+ years of experience required). Experience with Python, Airflow, AWS, Fivetran is a strong advantage.




Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce knowledge (campaigns, quotes, opportunities).
• Tableau Desktop Certified Professional status.
• Data Science, Machine Learning, and Gen AI experience.
