Primary Responsibilities:
- Efficiently communicate and interact with co-workers, management & customers
- Collaborate with business analysts and programmers to create and analyze project documents
- Maintain compliance with software development life cycle standards and strategies
- Developing comprehensive test plans for system/integration testing while continuously evaluating regression cases
- Partner with developers/QA engineers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective products efficiently
- Build and optimize scalable Azure Databricks data pipelines ensuring performance excellence
- Solve complex, less structured technical challenges independently
- Act as a trusted resource for team members across the organization
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
- 2+ years in Data Engineering (Associate's degree + 2yrs OR Bachelor's)
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, Scala, Airflow frameworks for data orchestration
- Skill sets including test automation tools like Maven & Jenkins
- Azure Cloud expertise alongside YAML/JSON/PowerShell mastery
- Data testing experience using advanced SQL database query tools
- Creating/executing comprehensive validation plans and strategies
- Hands-on implementation of PySpark/Scala for distributed computing
- Leveraging LLM-based AI tools (AI-SME, GitHub Copilot) for intelligent test planning/scripting
- Utilizing GenAI/NLP technologies to drive innovation in business processes
