Project Role: Data Engineer

Project Role Description: Design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. You will be instrumental in creating efficient data pipelines, ensuring high data quality, and implementing comprehensive ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes to seamlessly migrate and deploy data across various systems. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data engineering.
• Collaborate with and manage teams to achieve project goals.
• Take ownership of team decisions and strategic direction.
• Engage with multiple cross-functional teams to contribute to key decision-making processes.
• Provide effective solutions to complex problems for both immediate and multiple teams.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering their skill development and knowledge expansion.
• Continuously evaluate and improve data processes to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must-Have Skills:
• Extensive proficiency in the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Strong foundational understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Proven experience with data integration techniques and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services crucial for data analytics (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in writing efficient and optimized SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis.

Additional Information:

• This position requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• This role is based at our Hyderabad office, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative data solutions within a dynamic environment.
• A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is a prerequisite for this position.
