About The Role
As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data solutions to support data generation, collection, and processing. This involves creating robust data pipelines, ensuring high data quality, and implementing efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for migrating and deploying data across various systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and deliver effective solutions, contributing to a scalable and resilient data infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Collaborate with and manage team members to ensure performance.
- Take ownership of team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key strategic decisions.
- Provide solutions to complex problems affecting immediate and multiple teams.
- Mentor junior data engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge enhancement.
Professional & Technical Skills
Must To Have Skills:
- Proficiency in IBM Netezza is essential.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
- Proven experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques and best practices.
