Data Engineer

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with Project Managers to manage the comprehensive system setup for product launches, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and preparedness across all commercial systems.
• Provide support for product lifecycle initiatives, including new product introductions, modifications, and discontinuations, by maintaining up-to-date and accurate master data.
• Oversee the creation, updating, and modification of master and transactional data within key systems such as SAP and Oracle ERPs, PLM, and Global Item Master (GIM).
• Maintain data integrity and alignment across various systems, actively monitoring for consistency and accuracy to support downstream business operations and applications.
• Adhere to quality management procedures for product master data, ensuring compliance with Divisional, Corporate, and Regulatory standards.
• Spearhead continuous improvements in databases, systems, data collection methodologies, statistical analyses, procedures, and training programs.
• Identify key business insights and propose strategic recommendations to guide business direction and inform cross-functional teams.
• Develop, maintain, and refine internal procedures and documentation for master data-related processes.

What You Will Need

Required

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, supply chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries, with a focus on supporting system setups for product launches.

Preferred Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in master data management, business systems, or related data-centric roles.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, including SAP and Oracle.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics platforms such as Tableau and Power BI, and their application in a business context.
