About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire data lifecycle, including data generation, collection, and processing. You will be tasked with creating efficient data pipelines, upholding high standards of data quality, and implementing effective ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to seamlessly migrate and deploy data across various systems. This role requires active participation in team discussions, problem-solving, and contributing to the development of technical specifications based on cross-functional team requirements. You will also be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability, making you an essential contributor to the organization's data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data generation, collection, and processing solutions.
- Create and manage data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality and implement ETL processes.
- Migrate and deploy data across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and perform independently.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Glue and PySpark.
- Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud computing services and architectures.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience is required, specifically a minimum of 2 years of experience in AWS Glue.
- Educational Qualification: 15 years of full-time education.
