Data Engineer

What you will do:

• Perform data engineering tasks, including development and collaboration across various databases, web applications, Power Apps, enterprise platforms, and machine learning models.
• Develop applications and host solutions in Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring platform security and managing user authentication and authorization for public domain systems.
• Assess security threats and vulnerabilities within hosting environments.
• Continuously evaluate data quality to identify process improvement opportunities and monitor business KPIs, conducting regular data reconciliations.
• Support and enhance business dashboards and applications under the guidance of business subject matter experts and leaders.
• Gain experience in software development and Business Intelligence.
• Collaborate with Global Procurement and Strategic Sourcing on workflow change requests, including development, negotiation, and approval.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards for supplier procurement data and systems.
• Apply systematic software development methodologies, including code reviews, change management, versioning, release management, and architecture principles, to resolve workflow issues and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
• Conduct business intelligence exercises to address supplier quality issues.

What you will need:

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in a Data Analysis environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly derive insights from data and define actionable steps.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working effectively in a team environment.
• High motivation and ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Medical domain experience is a plus.
