AWS Data Engineer Opportunity

EXL is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer for a hybrid role based in Gurugram, India. This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to cutting-edge data projects.

Experience Required: 2-4 years of dedicated experience as a Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust ETL processes.
• Design and implement data models, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Write advanced SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, and aggregations.
• Utilize Python for data engineering tasks.
• Work with Snowflake, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage AWS services such as S3 and Glue.

Mandatory Skills:

• Graduation from an IIT Institute (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
• Strong technical expertise in SQL (Advanced SQL querying, joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregation).
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Snowflake, ETL, SQL, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data model concepts.
• Familiarity with Star Schema and Snowflake schema.
• Good knowledge of AWS services including S3, Athena, Glue, and EMR/Spark, with a strong emphasis on S3 and Glue.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Big Data Tools and technologies.
• Good understanding of data structures and data analysis.
• Knowledge of the Insurance Domain is a plus.
