Data Engineer

Puresoftware Private Limited is seeking a skilled Data Engineer with over 2 years of experience in Big Data and Data Engineering. This role involves building enterprise-level applications within a public cloud environment, with a strong preference for Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native data pipelines utilizing technologies such as Python, Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, and Apache Beam. Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including PostgreSQL and BigQuery, are essential. Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Mongo and AlloyDB is considered a plus. The role requires comfort with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and version control systems like Git. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and agile software development methodologies, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in multi-functional agile teams, is expected. Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are vital. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Optional, but advantageous, experience includes building Docker images and deploying them to production environments. Furthermore, experience with container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes, including creating pods, config maps, and deployments using Terraform, is a significant advantage. Familiarity with C#, .NET core, and microservices is also a plus.
