Data Engineer

Atlys is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team in Delhi, India. This role is crucial for structuring and unifying data from various sources, ensuring high-quality, well-governed data pipelines, and maintaining a robust analytics data warehouse. You will collaborate closely with product, software development, and data science teams to power machine learning-driven insights and enable data-driven decision-making through accurate segmentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and structure database schemas across multiple data sources for optimal consistency and performance.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from internal systems and external platforms like ad networks.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability across all data pipelines.
• Own and optimize the analytics data warehouse for both current and future data workflows.
• Partner with data and engineering teams to support ML use cases, including user segmentation and insight generation.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI (or similar backend frameworks like GoLang, NodeJS).
• Deep expertise in SQL, including DML, DDL, and a strong understanding of OLTP and OLAP principles.
• 1-3 years of experience in building data pipelines, ETL processes, and database administration (DBA).
• A foundational understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) is beneficial.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse is preferred.
• A genuine passion for data and its application in enhancing decision-making, with a focus on data ingestion.
