As a Data Engineer on the Data and AI team at Amazon Filters, you will implement robust data pipelines and infrastructure that power our organization's data-driven decisions. You'll design comprehensive data solutions including real-time processing architectures and secure storage, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create impactful data products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate across disciplines to innovate and bring ideas to market.
- Design and maintain scalable data architecture focusing on quality and reliability.
- Contribute to database design, ensuring scalability and adherence to team standards.
Day-to-Day:
The role involves active participation in stand-ups, monitoring pipeline health, troubleshooting data quality issues, developing optimized processes, unit testing code, and communicating technical insights to non-technical stakeholders. You will continuously learn from senior engineers while advancing infrastructure initiatives that support AI models and business decisions.
Team Overview:
The Data and Artificial Intelligence team owns the end-to-end data strategy within Customer Engagement Technology. We leverage GenAI, Machine Learning, Ontology, NLP, and more to enhance customer experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 1+ years of experience required.
