Data Engineer

Join Aon Corporation as a Data Engineer in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This is a full-time, hybrid position with cab facility and a shift time of 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM. We are seeking a candidate with 5-9 years of experience, holding a B.Tech or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with actuaries, developers, and business experts to design, implement, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines, including ingestion, storage, and consumption. Your responsibilities will involve designing and proposing data pipelines and databases for web-based applications, implementing data warehouses and data marts, and managing database performance and data lifecycle. The role requires proficiency in complex SQL query and database performance tuning, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts. A strong understanding of performance and maintainability best practices for data-centric projects is essential. We are looking for a dynamic and eager learner who can quickly acquire new technology knowledge. Experience with BI and analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau is required. Nice-to-have skills include experience integrating AI into data engineering, Databricks/cloud/database certifications, and experience with AWS IaaS/PaaS solutions or object-oriented programming languages.
