Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at Louis Dreyfus Company in Bengaluru, KA, India, you will play a crucial role in our Fundamental Trading division. The Crop Monitor and Weather Desk initiatives are key to our data-driven strategy, relying heavily on robust data engineering for accurate and timely data processing, which directly influences our trading decisions and overall performance.

This is a new, internalized role following the departure of a key external developer. We are seeking a dedicated Data Engineer to join our Bangalore office. While this position is unbudgeted for the current year, it is included in the 2025 budget. This move towards internalization offers cost efficiencies compared to external providers, ensuring better project alignment, continuity, and improved data quality. Bangalore's rich talent pool makes it a strategic location for attracting and retaining top data engineering talent.
